Kenya Works is registered in both the United States and Kenya—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the U.S. and a registered charitable foundation in Kenya. This means we are formally accountable in both places: able to receive tax-deductible support from U.S. donors while remaining legally rooted, locally connected, and directly responsible for our work in Kenya.
We are not simply working in Kenya—we are part of it. This foundation allows us to build trusted, long-term partnerships that create lasting opportunities for children, strengthen families, and empower whole communities to shape their own futures.
