The Power of We: Kenya Works 2025 Annual Report

When we talk about change in Kenya, we talk about “we” — not “I.” The 2025 Annual Report is a testament to what happens when donors, communities, staff, and the families we serve move together toward a shared vision.

By the Numbers

This year, across all four of our program pillars, Kenya Works reached:

• 1,569,775 meals provided to children and families in need
• 77,755 individuals reached through our programs
• 61,619 shelter nights provided to children in crisis
• 1,011 students sponsored — 911 fully, 100 partially
• 33,000 beneficiaries of the Makini Pad menstrual health program
• 2,080 advocates and parents trained in human rights

What These Numbers Mean

Numbers tell one story. But behind each shelter night is a child who slept safely. Behind each sponsored student is a family whose future changed direction. Behind each Makini Pad is a girl who stayed in class.

The Power of We is not a slogan. It is the operating principle of everything Kenya Works does. We don’t deliver programs to communities — we build them with communities, and the results speak for themselves.
