Kenya Works has unveiled the inaugural edition of the Future4Binti newsletter, which showcases collaborative efforts to advance girls’ rights across multiple nations.
The initiative operates across Kenya, Ethiopia, and Somalia, emphasizing the importance of cooperative action and grassroots solutions. Future4Binti is built on the power of partnership and community-led change.
The inaugural issue highlights contributions from various stakeholders including grassroots leaders, nonprofit groups, and individuals championing systemic change. These advocates work collectively to combat female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C), early marriage, and comparable harmful practices.
The publication’s ultimate goal centers on safeguarding girls by enabling them to remain in educational settings, live in secure environments, and enjoy the freedom to determine their own life trajectories.
